Overview
Aritzia is growing, and our Retail Communications team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for all communications in the front and back end of Retail. As the Manager, Retail Communications, you will be responsible for actively informing the strategy for Retail Communications and leading the team to develop high quality communication content for Retail, while managing Retail Communications programs. THE ROLE
As the Manager, Retail Communications, you will:
Support with establishing Aritzia’s Retail communications strategy
Implement an integrated platform to elevate communications and inspire our people across all Retail audiences
Optimize and deliver the right amount of communication content appropriate to the audience
Connect our people in Retail to the operational information required to drive high performance
Deliver change management communications for Retail audiences, maximizing understanding and empowering adoption
Communicate our business results and vision, maximizing engagement and advocacy
Support the function of high-quality people communications through seamless management of events and meeting programs
Develop communications plans to address highly complex business issues in partnership with Retail and communications colleagues, including crisis management
Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience
THE QUALIFICATIONS
The Manager, Retail Communications has:
Proven and best-in-class skills, education, and/or applicable certifications, including:
Experience in leadership roles within communications
Experience managing communications teams within complex organizations
Outstanding written, verbal, interpersonal and public speaking skills
Proven ability to synthesize business strategies into communication solutions
A commitment to learn, apply, champion, and enrich Aritzia's Values, Business and People Leadership principles
The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners
